ALEXANDER KJERULF JOINS THE WORLDBLU GLOBAL ADVISORY BOARD

November 3rd, 2006 · No Comments

I’m so delighted to share with you that today one of my dearest friends and mentors, Alexander Kjerulf, Founder of the Happy at Work company in Copenhagen, Denmark and the “Chief Happiness Officer” has just joined the WorldBlu Global Advisory Group
Alex is a self-described ex-geek, radical Renaissance man, and hardest-working slacker. He is also the author of the forthcoming book, Happy Hour is 9 to 5 — How to Love Your Job, Love Your Life and Kick Butt at Work.
Alex writes an outstanding blog, which you can read here. It’s read by literally hundreds of thousand of people each month.

The way Alexander and I met is a testament to the power of these ideas to bring people together from all pockets of the world. In the summer of 2003 Fast Company quoted me talking about organizational democracy on their homepage. Alex read it and posted it to his blog. I later found it on his blog, contacted him, and the rest is history.

This summer I spent ten days with Alex and his wonderful girlfriend Patricia visiting Copenhagen, speaking about organizational democracy, visiting democratic companies, and just soaking in a wonderful city and lifestyle. I had a fantastic time exploring so many ideas with Alex while I was there.

I’m honored and delighted to have Alexander and his unique brand of insight, enthusiasm, and perspective on our team.

Viva la Happiness!
